Important information

We will provide only pure vegetarian food at the homestay. Non-veg BBQ included in the package is allowed only outside the homestay with a campfire.

We are unable to accommodate last-minute bookings. Please book at least 1 day in advance.

A government-issued ID card is required for individuals or at least one person in a group.

Itinerary:

  • Check-in: By 7:00 PM
  • Check-out: By 12:00 Noon
  • 07:30 – 08:00 AM: Breakfast (Packed for sunrise hikers)
  • 12:00 – 1:00 PM: Lunch (Only vegetarian food will be available at the homestay.) Note: Wherever possible, we will arrange meals for non-vegetarians at another location near the homestay. An additional charge of Rs. 150 per person will be charged. Advance notice is required for this.
  • 07:30 – 08:00 PM: Vegetarian Dinner
  • 08:00 – 10:00 PM: Campfire/BBQ (Self-service)
  • 10:00 PM – 07:00 AM: Quiet Hours (No speaker use after 10:00 PM)
  • 03:30-04:00 AM: Sunrise Hike (carry your 2 liters of drinking water and breakfast).
  • 02:00 – 02:30 PM: Sunset Hike
    (Note: Timings may vary.)

The package costs Rs. 1500/- for one night and two days, and booking is mandatory.

  • Dry foods & healthy snacks.

Important Notice:

Following heavy rains on October 11th & 12th, landslides have affected the Bethanchowk hiking trail. Alternative routes are in use, which are slightly challenging but safe. Upon reaching the top, you’ll witness the Mahabharat trail and stunning rocky landscapes.

Safety & Security Guidelines:

  • Leave only footprints; take only pictures.
  • Respect nature & local communities.
  • Secure your valuables.
  • Inform your family before starting your hike.
  • The homestay is not liable for natural disasters or accidents.
  • No insurance is provided—individual responsibility applies.
  • Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
  • Any activities outside of homestay guidelines are at your own risk.
  • Compensation is required for any damages caused.
  • Unauthorized fires are not allowed.
  • Cutting down trees or harming nature is prohibited.
  • Dispose of waste responsibly—only organic waste allowed.
